Special Recipe

Each of our soaps start out with the same base for a moisturizing bar of soap with a great lather. Our special base recipe includes:

  • Goat’s milk
  • Olive Oil
  • Coconut Oil
  • Sweet Almond Oil
  • Shea butter
  • Castor Oil

To this base, we add essential oils, exfoliant, and other natural ingredients to make a unique, great smelling, and beautiful bar of soap.

Why Goats Milk?

Unlike cow’s milk, Goats milk is naturally homogenized, making it easily absorbed into the skin. Milk soaps contain whey protein, lactic acid, and vitamins A and D. These elements combine to give you skin that is soft, supple, and strong. Goats milk has a pH level almost identical to human skin, enabling it to work with your skin instead of fighting it. It is moisturizing, and rich in healing vitamins, minerals, and proteins, and gentle enough for even sensitive skin. Once you start using homemade goats milk soap, you may find your skin is healthier and softer, even while using less lotion!

Why Homemade Soap?

When you use all natural homemade soap, you know exactly what you are putting on your skin. Ever notice that most commercial soaps are called “bath bars” or “beauty bars”? That is because most of these are made with detergents or petroleum, and aren‘t soap at all! Commercially made soaps have had the naturally nourishing glycerin removed to be resold. This makes them harsh and drying to your skin. These soaps lead to skin that is dry and itchy and requires the use of lotions to restore a natural balance.
